Somboon serves as the Director of the Tilleke & Gibbins’ Jakarta office. He has extensive experience handling a diverse range of IP matters across a multitude of Southeast Asian countries, particularly Indonesia. Somboon is well known for his vast knowledge of IP protection and he has presented on the topic to numerous organizations based in ASEAN. He is also an expert in formulating strategies for the successful management of worldwide trade mark portfolios as well as employing customized techniques for protecting and enforcing clients’ trade mark rights on a global basis. He specializes in international trade mark registrations, licensing, assignments, copyright recordal, software recordal, and in reviewing and constructing distributorship contracts.
