Founded in 2008, TI EU coordinates Transparency International’s EU-relevant anti-corruption work, carried out by national chapters across and beyond the European Union, including cooperation among the 26 national chapters in EU Member States, the national chapters in EU accession candidate countries, and the International Secretariat in Berlin (TI-S).
TI EU’s mission is to prevent and address corruption and promote integrity, transparency and accountability in the EU institutions and in EU internal and external policies, programmes and legislation. This will in turn enhance efforts at the national level to fight corruption and promote equality and access to justice for citizens.
