The relation between human health and climate change is the central theme of the 13th European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health (ECTMIH): how is our health system impacted by extreme weather events and catastrophic conditions, including heatwaves, floods and wildfires in Europe. ECTMIH-2023's aim is to accelerate the connections between tropical medicine, global health, and planetary health. Health equity and universal health coverage are emphasized.
