Leatherhead's Food Law Update is an annual overview of EU and national legislation of interest to the food industry in Ireland.
Topical subjects, and those where there have been significant changes, will be covered in detailed presentations.
The 2012 programme will be presented by speakers from Leatherhead Food Research, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), and Maree Gallagher Associates, and will include updates on additives legislation, health claims, fortified foods and PARNUTS, and an overview of the new EU Food Information (Labelling) Regulation.
The course is ideal for anyone in the food industry, or local or national government, who wishes to keep up-to-date with recent changes and developments in food law.
From this course you will:
Be updated on the important changes in food legislation and guidance in the last year
Gain knowledge of issues which are pending and being discussed at European level
Have the chance to discuss and network with Leatherhead advisors, FSAI staff and fellow food industry professionals
This course will be of benefit to those in industry and local government wishing to keep up-to-date with a broad range of food law issues, those interested in increasing their awareness, or those with only limited responsibility in this area
