Welcome to the 11th CIGAR Workshop that will be held in June 14-15, 2012 in Barcelos, Portugal, at the Research Center of Accounting and Taxation (CICF) of the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA).
The theme proposed for the Workshop is “Performance Management in the public sector: past, present and future trends”, expecting that the expected debate will contribute to the understanding of performance management developments in public sector organizations.
For the first time, the CIGAR Workshop will be preceded by the PhD Seminar (June 13) given the high interest expressed by doctoral students in this kind of events.
