
Description:
The participants of this course will be given the opportunity to compare and understand the appliance of protocol at home and abroad, and the factors involved that shape rules and procedures, such as cultural identity, history, tradition and most importantly national customs. Particular attention will be given to cultural differences in order to understand the need and use of protocol around the globe.
Objectives:
The focus of the course is on the main factors that have shaped the practice of contemporary protocol and modern diplomacy including social changes, technological innovations, and new means of travel and communication. The aim, therefore, is to allow participants to expand the depth of their knowledge and capabilities in these particular fields. It is for this reason that ISPD has assembled a team of leading experts with decades of experience and knowledge.
