During this advanced five-day course participants get an insight into the theory and practice of EU negotiations. The main focus is on interactive elements including a simulation exercise under the guidance of an experienced insider. The workshop prepares participants for negotiations taking place inside the EU institutions and within the context of an EU Presidency and shows them the perspective of a Permanent Representation in Brussels.
After this one-week advanced training course, you will have gained the necessary know-how and self-confidence to participate effectively and successfully in negotiation processes in the EU context.
The programme will offer you the possibility to:
- improve, extend and update your knowledge and understanding of the EU with the in-depth analysis offered.
- strengthen your professional skills through exercises in managing the information flow in EU affairs, communication, negotiation and lobbying practice.
- experience ‘Brussels’ during and after the sessions with EU practitioners and a one-day training at the Council of Ministers.
