Peace Projects in the context of Civil Peace Service (CPS)/Conflict Transformation are usually implemented in the framework of an existing organisation, a group and/or a team on site. Peace and Conflict Consultants coming from abroad therefore very often join an existing group (department of the partner organisation) or a specific project team.
The way team members cooperate has significant influence on the implementation of the project and is usually as much under the strong scrutiny of the surrounding environment: Does the attitude, the behaviour and the organisation of work processes fit to the project’s objective and values of conflict transformation?
Reflecting on development processes and roles in teams and groups in an inter-cultural setting is helpful to understand the dynamics and to develop ideas for being part of a constructive process within the team/ group.
