Gallup is pleased to invite you to "The 1st Alec Gallup Future of Survey Research Forum: "Incorporating Mobile Phones in Social and Policy-oriented Surveys" to be held on 14 October at the Hotel Solvay in Brussels.
With 50% of the world's population using mobile phones, their arrival has not only revolutionised people's lives, but also led to the social and market research industry facing new challenges:
- Countries like Finland and the Czech Republic have a majority of "mobile-only" citizens.
- "Mobile-only" groups need to be further defined but are often thought to include many of the younger and poorer members of society.
- The picture is changing rapidly and survey research methodologies have to adapt to this new landscape.
This interactive workshop is an opportunity for all stakeholders to learn about these challenges and the latest developments in mobile phone surveys, to share experiences and best practices with the aim of identifying practical solutions that will allow surveys in the 21st century to continue to provide reliable data and results for all.
The Forum's programme is attached. The morning and afternoon sessions, and lunch, can all be attended independently of each other. As seats are limited, please register before 12 October with Joyce del Rosario: Joyce_de_Rosario@gallup-europe.be
We are looking forward to seeing you on this occasion,
Best wishes,
Robert Manchin,
Chairman of the Board and Managing
